Solopreneurship.eu

Privacy policy

Last updated: 8 June 2026

Solopreneurship.eu is built privacy-first. This page explains, in plain English, what data is collected, why, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible

The data controller is Konstantin Filatov, operating Solopreneurship.eu. For any privacy request, contact hello@solopreneurship.eu.

What is collected

  • Anonymous analytics. Page views are counted using a short-lived, irreversibly hashed identifier derived from your IP address and browser, combined with a daily-rotating secret. It cannot be reversed to identify you, is not linked across sites, and sets no advertising cookies. The purpose is aggregate statistics (which articles are read) only.
  • Newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address is stored and processed solely to send the newsletter. Email delivery is handled by our processor, Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, EU). You can unsubscribe from any email at any time.
  • Affiliate link clicks. When you click an outbound partner link (a /go/… link), you are redirected to the partner, who may set their own cookies to attribute the referral. That processing is governed by the partner's own privacy policy.
  • Server logs. Our host (Hostinger, EU data centres) keeps standard technical logs for security and reliability.

Legal basis

Anonymous, aggregate analytics rely on our legitimate interest in understanding what is read (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and process no personal data that identifies you. The newsletter relies on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), withdrawable at any time.

Sharing & selling

We do not sell your data. The only third parties involved are the processors named above (email delivery, hosting) and the affiliate partners you choose to click through to.

Retention

Aggregate analytics are kept only in non-identifying form. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

Your rights

Under GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, or object to processing, and you may withdraw newsletter consent at any time. Email hello@solopreneurship.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
